La Conner Tote
You know those charm packs that you keep hoarding? Well, it's time to break them out and use them. Today I am sharing my bag that I made using the La Conner Tote pattern from Jeri Brandvig. You can find the free tutorial on YouTube. The pattern calls for 4" squares, but I just didn't want to cut down all the charm squares plus I need a new beach bag.

Quilt Along Blocks
I'm plugging away at my scrappy quilt for a new quilt along. Way back when I started my quilting journey this block was called the square in a square block, now pretty much everyone knows it as the economy block. Some names just catch on and stays that way..lol. Can't with to be able to share the finished quilt with you!

I chose a fabrics from a few different Art Gallery Fabrics fat quarter bundles. These are from the Fusions bundles. I love the vibrant colors and beautiful prints. I'll be sharing another peek before the final reveal.

Fresh Quilt Block
I made one block a couple of years ago and meant to make more but time just slipped away and other projects got in the way. I saved my Sweetwater fabrics to make more of the blocks so I can turn them into a large quilt.

Year of Scrappy Triangles
Happy Tuesday! I have been having so much fun using my scraps. Sewn by Leila created twenty paper-pieced blocks and I have been saving to use some of my scraps. These blocks are so quick and easy to piece. I did cut the fabrics a little bit larger than what the pattern calls for.

Year of Scrappy Triangles
I have been saving all of the scrappy triangle patterns from Sewn by Leila so I can work on them in between work obligated sewing and school. I have been trying my best to use my scraps just to hopefully whittle them down and hopefully use them up, but as always they keep on growing. These scrappy triangles have smaller pieces which is great for scraps.

Sewing Olympics Finish
I am sew happy I was able to use up some fabrics in my stash for Benartex's Sewing Olympics. These prints are from their retired collection called The Garden Party. Each day for 5 days there was a new block to work on.

Sewing Olympics
Happy Monday! When Shelly Denton came out with her new line of fabric called The Garden Club for Benartex Fabrics, I bought a small amount of yardage thinking I was going to make a bag out of those prints. I kept it in a ziplock bag forever.

Double Nine Patch Quilt WIP
Just popping in to share a WIP double nine patch quilt that I've been plugging away at. This is one of my favorite color combinations. This is a large queen size quilt so I had to tackle it by doing assembly lining sewing step-by-step in order to get it done.

Quilt Along Sneak Peek
I have been sharing sneak peeks on Instagram of my quilt along project I've been working on. I love all different types of fabrics but I have a weakness for 30's reproduction prints. Perhaps it was because I used these types of prints for my first quilt or maybe it was just that the colors and designs are pleasing to my eyes.

Pumpkins Quilt
It's been a long time since I've made a Fall quilt. When I saw the Pumpkins quilt pattern from Cluck Cluck Sew being used for August's Minis and More parade I couldn't resist. Who doesn't love pumpkins? This also gave me a chance to use up more fabric that's been sitting in my stash forever.

Roundabout Quilt-Along
I am such a busy person at the moment but let's see if I can squeeze this Roundabout quilt-along in. I've got four projects going all at once so cross my fingers and hope this one will get done way before the night before like I did with Melissa's last quilt along.
