FAL Q4 Goals

I don't have much time these days so in order to squeeze in some quilting time, it's nice to have a FAL to help me stay motivated to get my UFOs done. This is the last FAL with Katy at The Littlest Thistle for the year. I am going to try and get a lot done before the end of December. Hopefully between the holiday breaks for school I can accomplish all that I would like done on this list.

Ugly Quilt Complete

I was on a time crunch to finish my ugly quilt since a friend wanted it even though I kept saying it was ugly. Sure glad it's going to a good home though.

This also completes my August ALYOF and FAL 3rd quarter goals. 

Sandbox Quilt

This is my 2nd finish for my 3rd Quarter FAL goal and also my ALYOF July goal. This kit was done by Avlyn Creations I think at least 10 years ago. I have had this quilt top pieced for quite some time. 

Scrappy Table Runner

Hello Monday! I am on a roll! I am still practicing free-motion quilting and getting the hang of my quilting machine. I had some small pieces of batting left so I loaded up the small scrappy table runner and practiced doing feathers. I just sort of winged it. Overall I think it's ok accept for some tight spots.

FAL Quarter 3 Goals

I am going to really get my UFOs done so I am linking up with Katy at The Littlest Thistle to commit myself to finishing. Lets just say that I have outgrown all of these fabrics but I must finish what I started.
First up is my Sandbox quilt that was also this month's ALYOF goal. I would like to quilt and bind it.

Monthly Goals Update

This month my goal for AYOLF  and FAL was to quilt and bind this flannel quilt. It's been raining since yesterday so I couldn't go outside to take a picture. I had to lay the quilt onto a white sheet for these photos and the sheet was not big enough. I might re-take the photos when the rain lets up. 

I sketched this pattern out to make this quilt. I don't have a name for it yet. I am sure I will as soon as the pattern is finished. 

FAL Goals

This year I am going to do my best to finish some quilts that have been sitting for far too long. I have quite a few quilts hanging in my closet that needs to be quilted so I am joining Katy at The Littlest Thistle to help motivate me to finish them.
