Christmas Napkins

How was your Christmas? I hope you were able to spend time with those you love. We had a quiet day. Hubby and I stayed up till early morning to finish baking and wrapping gifts. I also was able to squeeze in some sewing. I’ve been trying to make reusable items for our home. I whipped up these napkins to go with Christmas dinner. 

Where Have I Been?

 It’s been a long time since I posted on here. I’ve been working quite a bit and haven’t had time to post. We also moved twice in two years. It’s been a little over 1 1/2 years since we moved to our new home. We have been so busy renovating  our home. It’s been a long road but we are so happy its’ pretty much done. I now have a dedicated sewing space that I’ve been working on getting organized so I can find my stuff/

I took some time last night to make a walker caddy. The pattern is from Sew Can She. I didn’t want to quilt it because I didn’t want to bind it. I also couldn’t wrap my head around the instructions so I kind of did my own thing. I only followed the placements for the straps. 

I have been hoarding this Flower Sugar collection from Lecien Fabrics. The prints are bright and cheery with a vintage feel.

I added more pockets on the inside and divided the full pocket on the exterior.  I hope to be able to post on a regular basis soon.
