February One Monthly Goal

I have been working on my En Provence quilt and so far I've only finished nine blocks. This quilt takes a bit more time than I had planned but I love how it's turning out. This month's OMG would be to finish the blocks and put the quilt top together.

I have not pressed these blocks. As I finished sewing them together I laid them all on top of each other. I figured it would be easier to iron them all at once instead of going back and forth to iron them. It does save a bit of time.

Over the weekend my new camera lens came in. I was wanting to try a shorter lens and the price was right so I grabbed it. I went to find some of our rescued kittens and took some photos. These two are always sleeping next to each other. The orange tabby is a female and the vet told us that this is very rare because they're usually male. She's still recovering from her surgery but she's a feisty and lovable girl. This black kitten is really loving and always wants attention. He's grown quite a bit since we rescued him.

We saved this handsome guy when his mother passed away. He's a little over a year old now and he's huge but he is so sweet. I think this new camera lens passed the test. It takes pretty nice indoor photos. Can't wait to take it outside in natural light.

Your En Provence is a great goal for February. You can do it!

Cute fur babies and great photos of them. I'm glad your new lens passed it's first test.

Your kitties are so sweet! I did not realize that orange tabbies are usually male, so I looked it up. It said there is an 80/20 ratio. Neat!
