One Monthly Goal Finish

My OMG (one monthly goal) project was supposed to be a quick one to finish but I decided to change things up a bit as I went along. I was only going to make a couple of zipper pouches out of the fabrics that I had already cut, but then I added some vegan leather to it and as I went along and writing things down for the pattern I turned them into bags.

I love these Liberty of London scraps that I received a while ago. I trimmed them all to a useable size and used as much as I could for the bag. I was playing around with the bag strap and this was the second version of where I would like to place the O-rings. Lets just say it was quite a challenge to have the leather on the sides with this kind of a zip closure, but I did it. This bag is just the right size for me to carry around town. There's only one of this Liberty of London bag so I'm keeping it :)

wow this is really lovely. those fabrics are wonderful. Yes, I would keep this bag also. Is it a simple one to make? I would like to make myself a small bag that is simple for my first one.
