FAL Q4 Goals

I don't have much time these days so in order to squeeze in some quilting time, it's nice to have a FAL to help me stay motivated to get my UFOs done. This is the last FAL with Katy at The Littlest Thistle for the year. I am going to try and get a lot done before the end of December. Hopefully between the holiday breaks for school I can accomplish all that I would like done on this list.

My goal is to get all of these quilted and bound.

First up a mystery quilt. I can't remember the quilt shop that hosted it. It was online and they do it every year. This was the first and last mystery quilt I will do. I really would like to know what the finished product looks like before I make anything these days.

This is my version of a Bear's Paw that I had finished a few years ago. I did a rough draft of the pattern and put it on the back burner. Someday I would love to finish all the patterns that I've sketched.

I put this daisy appliqué quilt together a couple of years ago. I think I put it away because I wasn't happy with the appliqué portion of it. I ended up ripping out the appliqué stitches and did the petals by hand. I like it much better and can't wait to get it finished.

This is the Goodnight Irene QAL that I couldn't figure out what kind of border I would like. Should I take the easy way out and create a traditional border or follow the pattern. I have decided that I will follow the pattern so I bought some more fabrics and will get to working on the borders soon.

A few years ago I participated in Darlene's Between Charming Friends QAL. I ended up using scraps of my 30's Reproduction fabrics. It is a wonderful pattern for scrap quilting. This has been sitting in my closet for too long. Can't wait to see this finished also. BTW...I was going to give you a link to download the pattern but both links are no longer good.

This quilt was made because I have way too much of these Rooftop Garden fabrics from Moda. I needed something quick to put together. I will call it Speedy. It really is a speedy quilt to make ;-D

This quilt is called Playground from the Simply Retro book by Camille Rosekelly. I used fabrics from Sweetwater. 

Last by not least is the butterfly quilt that was made using Hoffman's challenge fabric they came out with a few years ago. I love this butterfly print. I still have quite a bit of it left and I can't seem to cut into it.

This year has gone by so fast. It's always been my goal this year to finish my UFOs. Along the way I have added I think off the top of my head 3-4 new quilts. Those will have to be finished next year before I make anymore quilts.
I think with all these quilts I would like to finish, I will have to go and buy up a whole roll of batting when it goes on sale.
