I am so happy to say that my DD's red and white scrap quilt is complete! I have so many projects that I would like to get done that I didn't want to delay finishing this quilt. I spent one night freemotion quilting this large quilt.
Here's a close-up of the swirls after I was done with the quilting.
This is what the quilt looks like both front and back side with the striped binding. DD is very happy once I finished the binding. We will have to wash this quilt with some extra color catcher to make sure it doesn't bleed. There's way too much red to take a chance on not using enough color catcher. I am so proud of DD for persevering and putting this improv scrappy quilt together. Hopefully there will be more quilts in her future.
