OMG January Goal

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful time with ringing in the New Year. I've been taking it easy spending time with my family and re-organizing my sewing and craft space. It's looking more manageable so I can see exactly what I need to work on. I have about 10-12 quilt tops that needs to be quilted and 3-4 sets of quilt blocks that needs to be turned into quilt tops.

These Liberty of London and Art Gallery Fabrics denim pieces were supposed to be turned into zipper pouches but with all the shuffling going on that I had to set them aside. I can't decide if I want to make two zip pouches keeping the prints and denims separate or mix them up. I am going to get them done shortly so I can move onto my UFOs.
After cleaning and organizing my work area, my goal is to take the old fabrics that I've had sitting around for years and just cut them up and make scrap quilts out of them. I love scrap quilts and I don't have to think about matching things up. I am hoping to make at least one quilt top a week to clear out the fabric drawers. Whatever scraps leftover from those will probably be turned into small projects so I don't have a bunch of scraps laying around.
I am also going to join Elm Street Quilts for the monthly OMG just to make sure to keep me on task.

I hope you'll be following along and make a dent in your stash. I would love for you to follow along with me on Instagram @lilypatchquilts for more wip posts.

I hope you and yours had a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and are having a very HAPPY NEW YEAR. May we display your header on our new site directory? As it is now, the site title (linked back to its home page) is listed, and we think displaying the header will attract more attention. In any event, we hope you will come by and see what is going on at SiteHoundSniffs.com.
