AGF Denim Bag

This year I am participating in Elm Street Quilts' OMG (one monthly goal). For this month I have a couple of projects that I wanted to finish up. You can see the original post here.

I still have quite a bit of this beautiful Art Gallery Fabrics denim left from my quilt project so I was going to make some zipper pouches but I changed my plans as I went along and really wanted to make something I can use a lot. This crossbody bag was just the right size for me to use everyday plus denim goes with everything.

The tassel was a new one for me to try and make. It turned out quite well for my first try. I did have to  fudge quite a bit with the sewing machine's tension in order for the stitches to turn out right. It will be a breeze working with leather from now on since I was able to work out all the kinks.

Your denim and leather bag is so pretty. The perfect size for a cross-body bag. I really like your label, too.
