UPDATE: These photos have replaced my old ones.
Since the goal was to use up my scraps I went for the queen size. It seems like an eternity cutting and putting all the pieces together that it took me a few weeks to complete the top. No, I wasn't sewing everyday just to complete the top. It was getting myself to sit down and sew. I love the end result. If you don't want to use your scraps just buy a jellyroll and follow the directions you'll complete the quilt top in no time.
That's all for today. Have a great weekend and enjoy the Olympics opening ceremony. We will be watching later.

A very nice quilt! I understand about your cat. I posted a couple weeks ago that my 3 dogs always do this when I'm trying to take quilt photos!

Your quilt is amazing and your cat is so cute!
this is so striking!
If it makes you feel any better about the cat - my kids are the same way with anything I make. As soon as it's finished (pillow, quilt, etc.) they are ALL over it. :)
This is lovely! The red border you chose realy sets it off as well.
