Year of Scrappy Triangles

Happy Tuesday! I have been having so much fun using my scraps. Sewn by Leila created twenty paper-pieced blocks and I have been saving to use some of my scraps. These blocks are so quick and easy to piece. I did cut the fabrics a little bit larger than what the pattern calls for.

This was supposed to be scrappy, but I had to have some sort of order so even though it's scrappy the colors would help to pull each block together.

As you can see, I have ALOT of pinks and yellows. I was trying to find some purples and blues but I don't have much of these two colors.

I am going to squeeze in some time to sew more blocks large enough to make a queen size quilt. I don't have a clue how I want the blocks laid out yet. I'll have to think about as I go along. If you would like to make these scrappy triangles you can head on over to Leila's blog and grab all twenty of them.

These are great blocks Kim... like you, I need order even with my scrappy sewing... love your work!
And love your cardmaking too - yes I do recall that you make the cutest cards!

I love your blocks! I have printed one set, but need to print more. I can hardly wait to sew. :-)

Very pretty! A really nice variation on HSTs. They look like fairly large blocks. Are they 12"?
