Pumpkins Quilt

It's been a long time since I've made a Fall quilt. When I saw the Pumpkins quilt pattern from Cluck Cluck Sew being used for August's Minis and More parade I couldn't resist. Who doesn't love pumpkins? This also gave me a chance to use up more fabric that's been sitting in my stash forever.

I went for the larger size quilt. It's been so hot lately that I've only been squeezing in sewing time at night when the weather is cooler. This pattern was so easy to follow and quick to put together. The photo below is the actual look of the finished quilt top. It's a good lap size quilt but I am thinking I might add a border to it so it would be big enough for a twin size bed.

I am trying to decide how to quilt this, allover freemotion or practice custom quilting designs. I haven't done much custom quilting so we shall see.
Here's a close up of the pumpkins. I love the scrappy look.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Lovely quilt, and the combination of all those fabrics is awesome! I am really fond of autumn quilts, and this one also fits into the Halloween category! Two in one!

I am late in getting to your post, linking up from Crazy Mom Quilts. I like your pumpkin quilt! If you decide to add borders to make it a bit bigger, be sure to show us!
