A New Zip Pouch

I have some projects that I've been wanting to finish but quilts take a bit longer to complete and I can only get the quilting done when I can stay home for the entire day. I can't keep the quilt on the longarm so I took the time to get my quilt blocks put together.

Just so I can feel like I've finished something, I pulled out my canvas fabrics and leather to make something small. I decided to make a small pouch with an inset zipper. I had some scrap leather that I was wanting to use up so I used it for the bottom of the pouch and the darker leather I made a tassel.
At first I wasn't quite sure about the two different leather colors but it's ok because I can always change it out to match the light brown leather since the tassel is removable. This is the back side.

This is the perfect size to carry my art supplies plus it's lined with cotton laminate so I can wipe it clean if I need to.
