En Provence Mystery Quilt

I don't usually do mystery quilts but this time Bonnie's colors and the chance to use up scraps got me.

Below were her color choices. I replaced the purples with blues. I don't have many purples in my scrap bags but have a lot of blues so it was the obvious choice for me.

These are just some of my scraps. I really hope to use up a lot of it for this quilt. This week the participants are to make the four patch blocks in the neutral colors. I haven't even begun to cut my fabrics yet. Maybe tomorrow I can get some done.

LOL The colors in this one hooked me too! Working on more 4-patches today between other projects. Happy December!

I thought about participating in Bonnie's mystery quilt. I've never done one either. I thought about it for just about one minute. I love her ideas and see so many beautiful projects come out of her mystery series but I have such a backlog of things to do that I just couldn't add one more thing to the list. I will, however, look forward to following your progress. (P.S... I would have swapped the purple for blues as well)

Sounds fun! I would have done the same thing, I don't have many purples either.
