My daughter saw the Esme top pattern and asked me to make her one. I was determined to use fabrics from my stash and I happened to have this orange print from Cloud 9 Fabrics that she loves. On this top I actually made the buttonholes as soon as I attached the bib to the bodice instead of waiting until the end to do it. When the top is done, I only need to sew on the buttons.
The cuff for the sleeve is not supposed to look like that. I pinned the cuff to the bottom of the sleeve to start gathering it. This went together much faster than the first one since I've worked out all the kinks on my top.

I've been looking at this pattern and thinking about making one too.
