I have been working little by little to get my 30's reproduction quilt done. I cut and prepped enough fabric pieces for 24 blocks and realized I did a lot more than that, OOPS! It's all good. I have enough to make a mini project after this quilt is done.
I love this American Jane print. I believe it is no longer available. I have it for so long I can't remember when I bought it. These churn dash blocks took me a couple of days to assembly line sew.
Here they all are. All lined up and ready to be sewn to the quilt top.
I am loving how this quilt is looking. I also pressed all my seams open for each block to reduce the bulk.

Churn dashes are on my to-do list, I love your idea of using reproduction fabrics!
I love your church dash blocks...I also love 30's reproduction fabrics. It will be fun to see a picture of your completed quilt top. Thanks for the inspiration. So many quilts I want to make...so little time to do it all!!
Those churn dashes are beautiful!
Oh I l-o-v-e those blocks Kim! So pretty! CD is one of my faves - probably because they're easy for me to do as a beginner!
Can't wait to see the finished top...
