Bloom Zipper Pouch

This was my WIP. I had the fabrics all cut up and just plowed through to finish my project. I'm trying to use up scraps but it just seems like it keeps multiplying. I could keep making these Bloom zipper pouches with my scraps. They are so quick to whip up.

This fabric was leftover pieces from a project I did for the Moda Bake Shop. I also had some chevron scraps so I used those for the top and bottom of the pouch.

I added an extra flower instead of the one called for in the pattern. It's all about using as much scraps as I can.

I can't recall what the name of these fabrics are, but there is a Cosmo Cricket piece in it. I also did a double layer for the flowers on this pouch. For the quilting I did 1/4" straight stitches from the seam.
The pattern is available in my shop an an instant download and this pattern is a great way to use up scraps.

They're both gorgeous Kim... I always find when I'm making a scrappy item that it takes me longer to prep the fabrics, wadding etc than it does to actually sew the thing!
