Comic Con 2014

Every Summer Comic Con comes to San Diego and every year we go to check out what's going on downtown. There are quite a bit of interesting people walking around in costumes. The vendors and entertainment industries showcase upcoming games, movies, tv shows. The actors, writers and creative talents come together for various panels and interact with the audience. These are some pics I took that those who do not have a ticket can participate in.
The Nerd HQ has previews of games and other interactive activities like laser tags for people to do and a celebrity panel that benefits Operation Smiles.

I love the set up for Sleepy Hollow and I love the tv show. Can't wait for it to come back this Fall. I did take a picture of hubby with the headless horseman.

This is the most adorable Hello Kitty truck. I was wanting to have my nails done Hello Kitty style, but instead the line closed so I had some temporary tattoos on my arms.

As fun as it is to have these tattoos on my arms, I know that I cannot handle tattoos after a few hours of looking at it. Thank goodness I can scrub them off.

Since I couldn't get my Hello Kitty nails done, I went for Angry Bird Stella instead. The ladies put on the decal and then the rest of the other nails were polished with the color of my choosing. These are my real nails. I tried artificial nails and they didn't work for me. I've always been able to grow them until one day they kept on breaking. For the last few months or so, they have been growing like crazy.  I realized when hubby took this picture of my hands that I've gotten darker over the Summer, YIKES!

At the end of the day, we were walking along and we heard people screaming. We looked toward the direction everyone was looking at and we saw these guys, Orlando Bloom, Andy Serkis and Bard (the guy from The Lord of the Ring, we can't remember his real name). Orlando Bloom waved, he smiled and turned around to take a selfie to capture everyone below him.

What a fun filled weekend!
