Easy Peasy Quilt

For lack of a better title for this post, easy peasy will have to do because this small quilt is really easy to make. A dear friend of mine had the blue Jewish print that she bought a long time ago and one day asked me to make a small quilt for her. She just wanted a simple quilt with the main print somewhere on the quilt top.

I sketched up some simple layouts and played around with the blocks until I was happy with it. I went and bought some fabrics to coordinate with the main print. The quilt top came together quickly.

I did a quick meandering and sewn the binding on by machine. I rarely bind by machine, but this little quilt will be used quite a bit.

Here's the back of the quilt. I used up the large leftover pieces of fabrics for the backing.

I am linking up with Pig Tales and Quilts for her sharing day. Head on over there and see what the ladies are sharing with you and join in on the fun.
