Corset

I hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was a busy one, but our kiddos had fun so it was a good one.

I was busy sewing Halloween costumes. Have you ever made a corset? It's one of those things I would never have thought to make, but over the weekend that's what I did. I made a corset.

It wasn't so bad, but the instructions that came with the pattern was not  ideal. I don't know if it's me or the instructions so I just put it together according to how I thought it should be. DD wanted the lacing on the front and back so I nixed the hook closure for the front and added eyelets. I did improvise on the boning instructions. I made my own bias binding instead of buying them readymade.
