FNSI Results

It's been a busy day here and the rain keeps coming. I had a church function to go to this morning and the topic was on humanitarian services in our community. I always love going each year. I managed to take a picture of my FNSI finish, even though it's a little late with our busy schedule today. I started out wanting to make a pot holder using my 30's fabric scraps, but when I finished, I think it would be more like a small trivet or mug rug. I cheated on the quilting a bit. I stitched all 3 layers together, turn right side out, then stitched really close to the edge to close the opening. I did another row all around, then an X for the center.
It was quick and easy. I did line the inside with Insul-brite to use for hot things.

Maybe I will squeeze in some time to make another one. I still have a lot of these squares I need to use up.

Are those 2-1/2" squares? Cute idea and nice, quick finish.
