This is the second pincushion that I've made. I got this pattern from the Moda Bake Shop. At first I thought, oh no! I have to cut at a 60 degree angle. It wasn't so bad as you can see. This was really easy to put together and I was done in no time at all.
Here's one side of the pincushion.
This is the second side. I guess this could be used on either side. They are both pretty to look at. I didn't realize how much fun it would be sewing pincushions. When I have more time, I might whip up some more!

Its great! I need to make one of these! and maybe a few for gifts! thanks for the idea.
This is a fun pincushion to make, isn't it? I've done a couple of them. I added a large fabric covered button in the center to one side, and a smaller plastic button to the other side. (I didn't want that thread from the button to cut through the pincushion, so I put a button on both sides.)
I love how cheerful you fabrics are! Makes you smile to see those bright flowers, and dots--well, you can never ever have enough dots.
