I have been busy sewing projects this week for our children. I will only post this one since the other ones are clothing and it has been used. Once they use it, I can't seem to get my hands on it. Every year our children eat what ever the school serves for lunch. They are pretty good at giving them a good selection, but last year I found that they hardly eat anything. This year I told our children they can bring lunch to school and boy were they excited. Our high schooler asked if I could make her a small bag that hooks onto her messenger bag. Off we went to find fabric. Our LQS has a huge sale this week and I was able to buy one yard of this beautiful Asian print for $2.99 and the lining was the same price. I asked her if she wanted a zipper or fold over and she said the zipper would make it look like a purse and we can't have that so fold over it is. This seemed small for me but it fits a sandwich and snack nicely. There are attachments on the back of the bag to allow her to attach the bag to her messenger bag. I also insulated it to keep her food cold and vinyl lining for easy cleaning.
