Tote Bag Sewing Party Final Update

I was really WANTING to make the Bella bag so I stopped by Joann's after the Scout Fair and picked up some grommets. The line was just as bad as yesterday (Fri.) but I had time to wait. I bought these blue prints a loooong time ago to make a bag, but never got around to it. I went and dug it out of my stash to use for this bag. After all the cutting and ironing. I drew the quilting lines with a ruler and quilted the outside bag pieces. It went alot faster than normal for me. I did not like the pin tucks at the bottom like the pattern's picture because it just looked like it didn't belong according to me;) so I didn't do it. I used the blue paisley print for the inside lining and the yellow print for the inside pockets. The grommets were super easy to snap in place. It's a pretty cute bag. I am not a blue person, but I like this combination.
I've enjoyed visiting everyone's blog and seeing all the beautiful handbags. It was fun sewing along with everyone.

Cute bag, Kim. It seems to be a popular bag right now.

Do you have a tool that does the grommets? I think I would like to make a bag using them.
